There has been a problem around Edmonton with RF noise on the HM repeater frequency of 147.060 MHz. This has been correlated with the presence of a Pattison electronic billboard. While it seems the presence noise correlates with the presence of a Pattison electronic billboard, the presence of a Pattison electronic billboard does not guarantee there will be noise.
We have contact Pattison and they are keen to understand and (hopefully) resolve the issue. To do so they have asked that we provide them with a list of places where there is noise so they can internally match the instance to the specific type of electronic billboard used.
This form will allow us to capture the information for them. You can add a street location such as a street and avenue, GPS coordinates, and a link to a map. All fields are optional and you are encourage to provide as much info as possible. Please check to see if the location has already been reported before adding a new one.
