The VE6HM repeater operates on a series of modules, which are exited with the pound (#) key. All commands to the main repeater system end with #
Enter 0# to run the help module.
This is an interactive prompt. Ensure you press # and the end of your responses to the prompts.
Press # to exit the parrot module.
Enter 1# to run the parrot module.
This will repeat back to you anything you say into the repeater, in order for you to test your signal strength.
Press # to exit the parrot module.
From the main menu, you can dial the node number followed by # to dial an EchoLink node at any time. Dial # to disconnect.
Enter 2# to activate the EchoLink module.
From here, you can send the node number followed by a number sign to connect to a node. You can also run any of the following commands:
1#: List connected stations
2:# Check local node ID
31#: Connect to a random station
4#: Reconnect to the last station
Dial # to deactivate the EchoLink module.
EchoLink will deactivate automatically after 5 minutes of inactivity.
Dial 671# to activate the link to the Southern Alberta Repeater Association.
Dial 67# to deactivate the link.
This link will disconnect automatically after 5 minutes of inactivity.
